The Sedona Sabercats bested the Rosewell Tribbles, 9-2, at The Lair at Sabercat Field. Mike Pope was named player of the game. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Sabercats bumped their record to 31-23 with this latest triumph.

The Sabercats picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Pope said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
