Bombers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Despite a great performance by Sedona designated hitter Alex Rodriguez, the Panana City Bombers defeated the Sabercats by the score of 4-3 at Donald J. Trump Presidential Stadium. Rodriguez was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Bombers bumped their record to 28-24 with this latest triumph.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Hedde Boland. For the game, Boland was 1-1. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season gave Panana City a 4-3 lead.
"Both teams played hard," said Panana City manager Gustavo Ruíz.
