Bombers Beat Visiting Sabercats, 5-2
|
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Sean Hayward, the Panana City Bombers defeated the Sedona Sabercats, 5-2. Hayward went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk for the Bombers. Jalen DePass saved it for Panana City. The Bombers bumped their record to 27-24 with this latest triumph.
Sean Musick, who was drafted in the three round of the 2031 draft, aided the Panana City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.
"We did a lot of things right," said Hayward.
