The Kansas City Tornadoes topped the Eureka Hornets, 4-3, in Thurman Munson League action at The Nest. The player of the game was Kansas City pitcher David Myers. Norberto Barrón was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

Marcos Tovar made it 4-3 in favor of Kansas City when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Tornadoes went on to win.

"David's tempo and rhythm were good," said Tornadoes manager Ryan Blandford. "He was the key to us winning."

The Tornadoes improve their record to 33-64 with the win over Eureka.
