Hinton Helps Nutcrackers Beat Pirates
Benefiting from Doug Hinton's productive game, the Normal Nutcrackers downed the Paradise Island Pirates, 8-6. Hinton went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Nutcrackers. Cedric Gold, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings. David Vince picked up the save for Normal, his 12th of the year.
