Totems Topple Pirates with Late Rally
Victoria got a strong outing from Rafael Campos as the Totems defeated the Paradise Island Pirates, 2-0, at Royal Athletic Park. Nobutoshi Katayama, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Ryan Merrill earned save number 11.

Had Kimihiro Murakami not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Murakami hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-0, in favor of the Totems.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Paradise Island manager Tsurayuki Inoue.

The first-place Totems have won 4 straight games.
