Tribbles Roll to 9-3 Win Over Varmits
Not everyone stuck through the 16-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Rosewell Tribbles topped the Yuma Varmits by the score of 9-3, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Juan Quevedo. Quevedo was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Tribbles. Reliever Jesus Pacheco picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Carlos de la Mora took the loss.

Willie Lorenzo was 1-3 with a walk for Rosewell. The 21-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Carlos de la Mora. It was his 63rd RBI of the season.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Rosewell skipper Anthony Mays.

Rosewell now has a 3-game win streak.
