Victoria right fielder Bill King made his presence felt in the 4-0 Totems triumph over the Normal Nutcrackers. King went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Totems bumped their record to 25-18 with this latest triumph.

King came through with some timely hitting for Victoria. With the score 0-0 in the top of the third and one down, King hit a 0-2 changeup for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season made it 2-0, Victoria.

King told a Victoria Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
