The Paradise Island Pirates trumped the Sedona Sabercats, 10-6, at Predator Park. Paradise Island designated hitter Robert Cabral was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Even with the win, the Pirates have a dismal 12-30 record.

Cabral contributed a big hit, a 2-run single, for Paradise Island in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Cabral took a fastball from Curt Osborn and stroked the single to center. His 27th hit of the season allowed the Pirates to leap in front, 4-3.

"I felt good up there," said Cabral. "I saw the ball well."
