Storm Come Back Late to Clip Cardinals

The Wichita Storm faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Hector Bonilla, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Denis Coderre Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Bonilla went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Wichita reliever Justin Keling was the winner. His record is now 5-2. The losing pitcher was Hector Bonilla. The Storm bumped their record to 24-17 with this latest triumph.
The Storm got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Oscar Leon. For the game, Leon went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Wichita a 3-2 lead.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Leon.
