Late Rally by Bombers Secures Win

It was a fun time at Donald J. Trump Presidential Stadium, where the Yuma Varmits and Panana City Bombers tangled.
The Yuma Varmits got a superb performance from pitcher Carlos de la Mora, but the Panana City Bombers still won the game, 5-4. de la Mora was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. The Bombers bumped their record to 20-18 with this latest triumph.
Had Jess Burhoe not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Burhoe hit a bases-clearing double. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Bombers.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Panana City manager Gustavo Ruíz.
