Cisneros Finishes Off Totems
|
The Yuma Varmits picked up a win at The Range, knocking off the Victoria Totems, 6-2. On the mound for Yuma was left-hander Eloy Cisneros, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Varmits bumped their record to 19-17 with this latest triumph.
Cisneros, the winner, is now 3-2 after putting the clamps on the Victoria offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 2 earned runs on 5 hits, while collecting 14 Ks.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Cisneros said.
