The Victoria Totems knocked off the Yuma Varmits, 4-2, at The Range. David Fanelli, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Victoria won. The designated hitter was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Totems have an impressive 22-13 record.

The Totems got a big at-bat from center fielder Seung-heui Choe. For the game, Choe went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Victoria a 2-0 lead.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Victoria manager Keiji Jouon. "It's usually not just one thing."
