The Paradise Island Pirates dealt the St. Paul Grognards a 7-1 loss at The Thunderdome. Tokio Yamaguchi was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Grognards, at 16-20, have lost 4 straight games.

Yamaguchi had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Pirates went on to win.
