The Sedona Sabercats knocked off the Victoria Totems, 7-1. Sedona starter Ruben Fernandez pitched well enough to earn top player honors. Sedona is second in the Cecil Fielder League Fred McGriff Division with a record of 20-13.

Early in the game, second baseman Andy Cote had a 2-run home run for Sedona. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Sabercats on top, 2-0.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Cote.
