The Lumber Kings relied on the hitting of right fielder Hiroshi Kajiwara to stop the St. Paul Grognards, 6-5. For the game, Kajiwara hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Jordan Garner earned save number 4. Even with the win, the Kings have a dismal 8-22 record.

Kajiwara had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Kings went on to win.
