Bombers Turn Back Normal, 6-5
|
Benefiting from Jess Burhoe's productive game, the Panana City Bombers downed the Normal Nutcrackers, 6-5. Burhoe was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Bombers. Earning his 9th save of the year was Jalen DePass. The Bombers saw their record improve to 15-13.
Burhoe had a key at-bat for Panana City early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Panana City an early 4-0 lead.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Burhoe told the Panana City Daily.
