Starting pitcher Tom Cline pitched well enough to help the The Stinging Larvae beat the Paradise Island Pirates by the score of 5-4. The Stinging reliever Ron Andrews was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Kevin Neily took the loss for Paradise Island. The last-place Pirates have lost 6 consecutive games.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the 13th, Chris Carpentieri hit a sacrifice fly. The Larvae took the lead, 5-4.
