Sabercats Shut Out Cardinals
Sedona got a strong outing from Ruben Fernandez as the Sabercats defeated the Montreal Cardinals, 2-0, at Denis Coderre Stadium. The save was credited to Mike Foust, his 1st. The Sabercats bumped their record to 19-9 with this latest triumph.

The Sabercats got a big at-bat from left fielder Bill St.john. For the game, St.john was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Sedona a 2-0 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," St.john said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
