Cardinals Come Back Late to Top Sabercats
Montreal center fielder Alberto Preciado made his presence felt in the 7-5 Cardinals triumph over the Sedona Sabercats. Preciado went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The first-place Cardinals have won 8 straight.

The Cardinals got a big at-bat from right fielder Scott Corkum. For the game, Corkum was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Montreal a 7-5 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Preciado.
