Nutcrackers Come Back Late to Top Storm
|
Normal pitcher Kunikazu Lookingbill did his part in helping his team beat the Wichita Storm, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. David Vince, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The Nutcrackers raised their record to 9-11.
Jeff Henson hit a run-scoring double off David Benitez in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Nutcrackers in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Henson had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
"We take it day by day here," said Henson, "and today was a good one for us."
