Montreal Cardinals starter Franklin Liz turned in a top-notch performance against the St. Paul Grognards at The Thunderdome. The result was a win for the Cardinals, 6-2. Liz went the distance for Montreal. He gave up 2 earned runs on 6 hits. The Cardinals bumped their record to 11-9 with this latest triumph.
