Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Chris Carpentieri, the The Stinging Larvae suffered a 6-5 loss to the Victoria Totems. Carpentieri went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. The win was credited to Anthony McDaniel in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Carlos Ruíz took the loss. Victoria has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

The Totems got a big at-bat from left fielder Victor Torres. For the game, Torres was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Victoria a 2-1 lead.
