Sasquatch Rally For Late Win Over Hops
|
The Sasquatch faced a stiff challenge from San Diego pitcher Jim Phillips, but persevered to claim a win at Sick's Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Phillips went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The losses continue to mount for San Diego, which has now dropped 11 in a row.
Kevin Campbell was the walk-off hero for Seattle. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sasquatch designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," San Diego manager Randy England said following the tough loss.
