Storm Clip Kings in Tight Contest
The Wichita Storm trumped the Lumber Kings, 5-1, at The Storm Center. Wichita left fielder Adrian Jimenez was named player of the game for his performance. He went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Wichita reliever Sam Young, now 2-1. The loser was Jose Ramirez. Wichita now sits in third place in the Cecil Fielder League Otto Velez Division at 10-7.

Jimenez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 fastball from Jose Ramirez, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Storm a 5-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Jimenez.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Wichita manager Chance Jackson.
