Gordon Goes Wild, But Sabercats Win
Sedona and The Stinging duked it out at The Queen and the Sabercats came out victorious.

Jeremy Gordon did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the The Stinging Larvae from losing, 9-7, to the Sedona Sabercats at The Queen. Gordon was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Sedona reliever Felix Mondaca got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Vince Johnson was tagged with the loss.

T.J. Oster, who is tied for 3rd in the CFL in bases on balls with 10, contributed to the Sedona win with a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the right fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"Feels good to get the job done," Oster said after the game.

Sedona has an impressive 11-4 record.
