The Victoria Totems and Wichita Storm obliged those fans who came to Royal Athletic Park looking for a good time.
The Victoria Totems defeated the Wichita Storm, 6-5, in Cecil Fielder League action at Royal Athletic Park, with Victoria third baseman Zachery Randazzo named player of the game. Victoria reliever Barney Archer picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Sam Young shouldered the loss.
The Totems got a big at-bat from designated hitter Justin Goldstein. For the game, Goldstein went 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Victoria a 6-5 lead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Victoria manager Keiji Jouon.
Victoria has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
