Despite a great performance by Lumber designated hitter Seisuke Fukushima, the Paradise Island Pirates defeated the Kings by the score of 6-5 at Epic Park. Fukushima went 2-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Edwin Roman closed the door for Paradise Island, picking up his 1st save of the year. The Kings fall to 5-9 and continue their lackluster start in 2033.

Billy Mumford had a nice at-bat for the Pirates with no one out in the top of the 17th. With a runner on 2nd, the right fielder grounded out, which would prove important in the Paradise Island win.

In postgame comments, Mumford said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
