The Victoria Totems handed the Paradise Island Pirates a sound defeat, 12-1, at Predator Park. Adam Kemp was a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for Victoria. David Pena got the win, improving to 2-0. He held the Pirates to no earned runs on 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 0. The Pirates, now 0-12, continue their poor start.

Kemp had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the first inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Totems went on to win.
