The Storm Center was the site of a competitive game between the Wichita Storm and Sedona Sabercats.

The Sedona Sabercats picked up a win at The Storm Center, knocking off the Wichita Storm, 4-2. Starting pitcher Curt Osborn, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Osborn, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Danny Stewart recorded his 4th save for Sedona.

The Sabercats got a big at-bat from first baseman Andy Cote. For the game, Cote went 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Sedona a 1-0 lead.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sedona manager Edgardo Bautista.

The Sabercats, now 10-3, have been on fire in the early going.
