Storm Walk It Off for 9th Win of Season
The Sedona Sabercats got a superb performance from pitcher Ian Portz, but the Wichita Storm still won the game, 3-2. Portz was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Wichita is off to a hot start at 9-2.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 15th inning, when Wichita second baseman Raymond Spurrell, facing Sadao Matsunaga, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Storm the 3-2 win.

"We were in it," said Sedona manager Edgardo Bautista. "We just didn't score enough runs."
