|
The Normal Nutcrackers downed the Victoria Totems, 5-2, at Royal Athletic Park. The Nutcrackers were led by Willie Zavala, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1-2 with 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. The win pushes Normal to a record of 4-5.
David Acosta aided the Normal cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs.
