Sedona and Normal duked it out at The Nutcracker Suite and the Sabercats came out victorious.

Sedona third baseman Phil Evans had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Normal Nutcrackers, 10-9. Sedona reliever Sadao Matsunaga picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Andy Kelly was saddled with the loss.

Terry Simmon chipped in for Sedona with a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.

"I like the roll we're on," said Sedona manager Edgardo Bautista.
