Vázquez, Marauders Sink Bombers Again in Game 3
Riding the 3-hit performance of designated hitter Ángel Vázquez, the Maple Marauders got a road win against the South Carolina Bombers, 8-3, in Game 3 of the Divisional Championship today. Vázquez went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Marauders, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

Vázquez delivered in the top of the second inning for Maple. With the game tied and runners on 1st and 3rd, the designated hitter hit a 3-run home run to right-center.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Vázquez told the Maple Citizen.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow. Slated to start are Khurshid Durrani for the Maple Marauders and Ángel Ruíz for the the South Carolina Bombers.
