Zamora, Marauders Sink Bombers Again in Game 2
Riding the 4-hit performance of third baseman Jorge Zamora, the Maple Marauders stopped the visiting South Carolina Bombers, 8-5, in Game 2 of the Divisional Championship today. Zamora was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Marauders, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Zamora delivered big-time for Maple, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Ed Armstrong. The game-changing hit put the Marauders on top, 6-4.

"It's a gut punch," Bombers manager Randy Huggett said, "to get here and find ourselves down 0-2 in the blink of an eye."

The next game is set to be played Thursday at Bomber Ballpark in Columbia. The scheduled starters for the game are Ze-dong Zhang for Maple and Ange Schmit for South Carolina.
