Scorpions Jolt Revenge with Late Rally
The Barbados Revenge got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Castillo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Scottsdale. The Scorpions won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Castillo was named the player of the game. He threw 5 innings of shutout ball. Tatsuji Kudo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 12 save opportunities. Scottsdale is now 26-39, Barbados 43-22.

Scottsdale took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, center fielder Salvador Cruz hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"A great game, a great day," said Cruz about the win. "I can't complain."
