Fighting Camels Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Barbados
The Framingham Fighting Camels beat the Barbados Revenge, 8-5, at The Drunken Wench Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Ivan Aragon, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Pat Hebert, the winner, improved to 1-7. He held the Revenge to 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Even with the win, the Fighting Camels have a dismal 20-42 record.

Aragon contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Framingham in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Aragon took a fastball from Josh Hokenson and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Fighting Camels to leap in front, 3-2.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Aragon said.
