Farmers Win at Rockville, 3-2
|
Union Farmers starter Perry Groenendijk was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Rockville Rangers, 3-2. Dan Van Sickle notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. The Farmers raised their record to 22-40.
Jorge Villaneda chipped in for Union with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
