Farmers Walk Off with Win
Union Farmers starter Francisco Morales pitched a strong game against the Caribbean Commies at Poters Field, leading the Farmers to a 3-2 win. The Commies, at 26-34, have lost 8 straight games.

The Farmers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bob Robles. For the game, Robles was 1-6. In the bottom of the 13th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 37th hit of the season gave Union a 3-2 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Robles told the Union News.
