Multi-HR Game for Wright in 5-2 Win
|
The Santa Barbara Suenos stymied the Scottsdale Scorpions, 5-2, at Dream Park. Stephen Wright, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Santa Barbara. Jeff Pardee notched his 7th save in 7 chances. Santa Barbara now owns a record of 33-28.
Early in the game, Wright had a 2-run home run for Santa Barbara. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Suenos on top, 4-2.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Santa Barbara manager Jacob Carlson.
