Rangers Lose, 7-2, at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker

With center fielder Tsugunao Adachi leading the charge, the Long Beach KO defeated the Rockville Rangers, 7-2, at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. Adachi, who is tied for 8th in the PFL in triples with 3, was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ben Robinson got the win, improving to 5-1. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up no runs on 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. The KO now have a mark of 36-25.
Francisco Hernández had a big 2-run single for the KO in the bottom of the second inning. With Long Beach leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Ken Stein and stroked the single to center. It was his 56th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the KO ahead, 3-0.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Adachi.
