Fighting Camels Continue Skid Thanks to Wright, Suenos
|
Suenos center fielder Stephen Wright put his stamp on his team's 12-6 win over the Framingham Fighting Camels. Wright was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4 for Santa Barbara in the contest. The Fighting Camels, at 17-41, have lost 7 in a row.
Danny Linares aided the Santa Barbara cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Wright said after the game.
