Fighting Camels Continue Skid Thanks to Yescas, Suenos
|
Mario Yescas had a 3-RBI game, during Santa Barbara's 10-4 triumph over the Framingham. Yescas contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. Juan Ortiz was the winner. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. Jorge Núñez converted his 1st save in 2 tries.
Manuel Arelino had a big 2-run double for the Suenos in the bottom of the second inning. With Santa Barbara leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Tom Greer and stroked the double to left. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Suenos ahead, 3-0.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Arelino.
Framingham, at 17-39, has lost 5 straight.
