The Scottsdale Scorpions got a stellar performance from pitcher Larry Hall, who handcuffed the Union offense en route to a 4-1 win at Scottsdale Stadium. Tatsuji Kudo earned the save for Scottsdale, his 6th. With the win, the Scorpions have a record of 21-35.

The Scorpions picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hall said.
