Boca Raton and Brooklyn duked it out at Scripps Field and the Fighting Iguanas came out victorious.

Boca Raton starter Eddy Johnston pitched effectively against the Brooklyn Cyclones at Scripps Field. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Johnston picked up the win for Boca Raton, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-5.

Andy Clark aided the Boca Raton cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Boca Raton manager Tommy Bauer.
