KO Drop Scorpions with Late Score
The Long Beach KO defeated the Scottsdale Scorpions, 9-6. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Curt Mayle, who went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Harrison Morley picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Tatsuji Kudo took the loss. The KO bumped their record to 29-24 with this latest triumph.

Ben Templeman was the walk-off hero for Long Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the KO pinch hitter hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Templeman.
