Victory Over Fighting Iguanas Takes Barbados to 35-17
|
Behind a solid performance from catcher John Bloom, the Barbados Revenge defeated the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas, 9-3. Bloom went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Revenge. Barbados reliever Austin Hearn picked up the win to move to 1-0. Kevin Bongarzone suffered the loss. Barbados has now won 4 games in a row.
Winn Miller, who is tied for 7th in the PFL in extra base hits with 20, chipped in for Barbados with a 3-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
