Caro goes 3-for-3, Rangers Move to 39-9
|
The Rockville Rangers topped the Framingham Fighting Camels by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Danny Caro. Caro went 3 for 3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Rangers on the day. Rockville reliever Naotake Nakamura picked up the win, upping his record to 8-0. Pat Hebert took the loss. The win boosts the Rangers to 39-9. The loss puts the Fighting Camels at 16-32.
Caro had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Rangers went on to win.
"I like the roll we're on," said Rockville manager Chris Sexton.
