Cyclones Lose to Commies in Walk Off
In a well-pitched game between the Caribbean Commies and the Brooklyn Cyclones, pitcher Bobby Savoy was superb. The Caribbean right-hander was named the player of the game in Caribbean's 1-0 win. Aaron Valenti got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Commies go to 20-23, putting them third in the Prince Fielder League John Mayberry Division.

The Commies got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jorge Cardenas. For the game, Cardenas went 2-5 with a double. In the bottom of the 11th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 33rd hit of the season gave Caribbean a 1-0 lead.

"What an ending!" said a jubilant Savoy.
