Fighting Camels Bang Out 9-6 Win Versus El Paso
Framingham played host to El Paso at the friendly confines of Camel Tow Park.

The Framingham Fighting Camels grabbed a 9-6 win over the El Paso Bomberos at Camel Tow Park. Framingham shortstop Victor Castelan was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times to earn player of the game honors. Framingham reliever Dave Paredes was the winner. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Chris Long.

The Fighting Camels got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Luis Munoz. For the game, Munoz was 1 for 1, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 37th hit of the season gave Framingham a 8-6 lead.

"It was a solid team effort," said Castelan after the game.

After today's action, Framingham sits at 14-25, while El Paso falls to 23-16.
